We live in a time of rapid, often unsettling change, inspiring mixed feelings of dread, anxiety, anticipation, and hope.

In the midst of this turbulence, prayer and meditation can be a refuge.

The Baha'i community in the East Bay is offering these illustrated prayers for you to download, screenshot, print and share for use in private contemplation or with friends and family.
We hope they inspire, comfort, and give you spiritual strength.

“There is nothing sweeter in the world of existence than prayer…The most blessed condition is the condition of prayer and supplication.” - Bahá'u'lláh

Devotional Gatherings

Devotional gatherings nurture the spirit of service as it blossoms in one’s heart, rooting it in a culture of collective worship. Resilience to challenges and the capacity to contribute to the spiritual and material well-being of our communities is strengthened.

Prayer and quiet contemplation, as well as joyous singing, drumming and other artful offerings that draw strength from the cultural character of each community are features of many devotional gatherings. Anyone is free to host or attend one.

Attend or Host a Devotional

There are a growing number of devotional gatherings held regularly in the East Bay. Due to the current circumstances with COVID-19, many are now being held via Zoom.

If you are interested in attending one of these “virtual” devotional gatherings, please contact the Bahá’í’s of the East Bay to be connected to a gathering near you.
